Unlike typical project-based crowdfunding, Patreon instead operates on a monthly subscription basis, where over 200,000 creators have created subscriptions for eager fans who can receive rewards and perks after paying a regular fee. Usually, these perks include early access to a creator’s content or access to the creator’s more exclusive work.
