Blender is an all-in-one, free and open source application for 3D computer graphics. Through the site, filmmakers can create story art, such as draft boards, character designs, and backgrounds. Drawn characters can then be turned into animations with the app’s rigging, shape keys, and motion path features, and the resulting animation can be compiled into a video through the app’s non-linear editing timeline.
