6 Streaming Bundles with DirecTV Stream
Over 140 channels, unlimited DVR and RSNs included - DirecTV Stream Ultimate is one of the most complete cord-cutting streaming bundles out there. Think of every sports network for example, ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS Sports, NHL Network, etc, you name it, you got it. You also get over 55,000 (15,000 more than the base Entertainment package, mainly from Starz Encore) of on-demand movies and shows included. Of course, there is a price tag that comes with all of this that will rival the most expensive cable packages: over $100 a month. With this package DirecTV is saying: if you want cheap, go to Sling. This is not cheap, but it has everything a family could need from a TV package.

DirecTV has one of the most comprehensive sports bundles out there. Not only does it cover the essential live channels like NFL Redzone, NBA TV, and MLB Network, it also has over 30 out-of-market RSNs and multiple networks that cover specialty sports and top collegiate teams. The bundle itself costs $15/month, but you need to be subscribed to one of DirecTV's packages, which start at $65/month, to purchase it. Do note that some of DirecTV's base packages already include some of the channels in this sports bundle, so make sure you double-check the channel lineup below to avoid too many overlaps.

The Netflix + DirecTV Stream Bundle lets you link your Netflix account to your DirecTV Stream account so you can receive a single bill (from DirecTV) for both subscriptions. For now, the bundle doesn't offer discounts, nor does it integrate Netflix on the DirecTV Stream app. It's also only available to those subscribed to Netflix's premium account. Still, the bundle is handy for those who already have too many bills to worry about, so if you've been wanting to streamline your entertainment apps, then this offer is worth checking out.

If you have an existing DirecTV subscription, or if you're considering getting one, you might have heard of the DirecTV + Max bundle. It exists because Max, a premium service that's home to TV series like Game of Thrones and Succession and film franchises like the DC Cinematic Universe and Harry Potter, doesn't come pre-installed in most DirecTV packages, except in its $155 Premier plan. With this bundle, however, you're free to choose from any of DirecTV's plans, which begin at $64.99/month, and bundle in Max for free for the first three months. After that, you're automatically charged the usual ad-free price, which is $15.99/month. The bundle also gives you access to HBO channels, which will be added to your current lineup, and to the Max app, which you can sign into using your DirecTV credentials. Considering Max itself doesn't offer free trials, subscribing to this bundle could save you a considerable amount.

Getting cable channel Starz usually means having to shell out extra money, but thanks to this bundle, you can watch blockbusters and Starz original shows like Outlander, Power, The Serpent Queen, Party Down, and Minx at no additional cost for 3 months. The DirecTV Stream + Starz bundle offers Starz completely free during this period, but if you don't cancel by then, your plan will auto-renew and charge you an additional $10.99/month, which is the Starz add-on's regular price. You can get this bundle whether you're a new or existing DirecTV Stream customer. Once you purchase the bundle, you can also use your DirecTV Stream credentials to log into the Starz app and watch it anytime, anywhere.
DirecTV Stream is already one of the most comprehensive streaming services out there, but if you want to add more premium channels to your chosen plan, you can do so for free. The DirecTV Stream + Premium Channels bundle allows you to watch Showtime, Starz, Max, MGM+, and Cinemax at zero additional cost for three months. That’s enough time to catch up on the latest films and TV shows and decide whether they’re signing up for or not (that’s more than $170 in value too!). Since those channels already come in DirecTV Stream’s highest-tiered plan, this bundle will come in handy for those selecting the Entertainment, Choice, and Ultimate plans.
Price: $80/month
The DirecTV Stream + MGM+ bundle lets you watch all of MGM+'s on-demand goodies, including the latest Hollywood blockbusters and modern classics, free for 3 months. The offer is available to new and existing customers of DirecTV Stream, you only have to have an account in good standing. After the three months, you're then charged MGM+'s regular monthly fee of $5.99/month unless you cancel the service. Since the cheapest DirecTV Stream plan goes for $80/month, you'll only have to pay $86/month for this bundle once the free trial months are up. Aside from getting to watch MGM+ on TV, the bundle also gives you access to MGM+ on any app and desktop on the go.
If you have or plan on getting DirecTV Stream, one of the premium channels you can add is Cinemax, a channel dedicated to airing blockbusters, action movies, and even a handful of critically acclaimed indie films since, like Cinemax, A24 is under the larger Warner Bros. network. Cinemax is a premium channel, so it normally costs $10.99/month, but DirecTV Stream is currently offering the add-on completely free of charge for 3 months. After the trial period, if you decide not to cancel, you'll be charged the regular price on top of your DirecTV Stream plan every month.
When you sign up for any DirecTV Stream plan, you get premium channels Max, Cinemax, Starz, MGM+, and Paramount+ with Showtime free for 3 months. You get to save $56 for each of those months, or $168 in total. That's not bad considering all the price hikes being announced lately. Just make sure you cancel before the trial period is up, or else the plan will auto-renew and you will have to pay the regular monthly fees. For Max, you'll automatically get the ad-free plan, which DirecTV Stream (as of this writing) still charges for $15.99/month, not $16.99/month as Max does on its platform. The All Specials bundle also lets you access each of the streaming service's apps so you can watch on the go and outside of the DTV Stream platform.

With the DirecTV & Paramount+ with Showtime bundle, you get both Paramount+ and Showtime originals (including current fan favorites Yellowjackets and Star Trek) and local CBS channels added to your DirecTV package of choice. You also get access to Showtime's roster of live sporting events, which cover boxing, MMA, and football, to name a few. Once you purchase the bundle, DirecTV automatically adds the bundle to your channel lineup and allows you to use your DirecTV credentials to log in to the Paramount+ with Showtime app. DirecTV likes to vary the discounts, but at the moment, it offers the bundle 50% off for 3 months, which means you only have to pay $6.99/month on top of your base DirecTV package (the most basic goes for $70/month at the moment) until the deal expires. After that, DirecTV automatically charges you the regular price of $11.99/month.
